Meet my new friends!

^^ That's Banjo **ADOPTED**- Black & Tan coonhound (may be pure). He's a love. He's socially awkward (like many of my friends). Kept his short little cropped tail curled between his legs like he was worried about being asked to pick up the soap. He's young, he is way more comfortable with other dogs than with people. I spent about 30 mins with him. He wants to love you- he's just unsure. Whoever takes him home will be lucky. Soon as it occurs to him (and it will) that he's safe, he's going to bloom and be a lovely pet. This little guy has the softest mouth. Took treats from my fingers like he was afraid he'd break me if his teeth even got close. I've had Logan for 8 years now- and he still forgets that he's not a shark.
^^^ Is Lucky-**ADOPTED** not so lucky to wind up in a shelter - but if you have to pick one - Boulder Humane is the place to be. He doesn't have legs - he has springs. He's sweet. A little over exhuberant - but hey... he's young and needs alot of excercise. He'll be a sweety.
^^ This is Piper. If I was fearless and had my own sprawling place, she'd be mine. She's a Ridgeback mix - sweet as they come. She's already trained to sit, down, come, shake and beg... she fetches like a champ, acts like a lady.. and yet she's in the shelter. I'm boggled. I love her to pieces and when I walk her we wander around then sit on a long 'bench' made of concrete and enjoy the sun together. We also enjoy a good romp in the agility yard. This gal can jump! I hope she gets adopted soon - she is so wonderful, she'd be great for an older person or a family. She's already basically 'done' as far as social skills go.THEN I get home to my Logan Berry Boo - and off we go to Marshall Mesa for a nice hour long loop of off leash, muddy paw, snow eaten fun!
It was a very good day!

It's the day after Xmas and all through the house..
I'm already bored...
I think I'll go over to Boulder Humane and walk a few dogs.
Logan got his nice big walk already this morning.
Don't want to go shopping. Me + Crowds + Stores + small children running at large = the 4th ring of my personal hell.
